Methods for selecting solenoid valves

The selection of solenoid valves should first follow the four main principles of safety, reliability, applicability, and economy, and then be based on six aspects of the on-site working conditions (i.e., pipeline parameters, fluid parameters, pressure parameters, electrical parameters, action mode, and special requirements). Selection basis:
1. Select solenoid valves based on pipeline parameters:
1. Nominal diameter specification: Determine the nominal diameter (DN) size according to the inner diameter size of the on-site pipeline or flow requirements.
2. Connection method: For general conditions (flange for DN50 and above, internal thread for DN50 and below), special conditions can be freely selected according to user needs.
3. Installation environment: Outdoor (for harsh outdoor environments, choose IP68 waterproof coil), indoor (IP65 is sufficient for indoor environments), special conditions can be freely selected according to user needs.
2. Select solenoid valves based on fluid parameters:
1. Corrosive fluids: It is advisable to use corrosion-resistant solenoid valves and all stainless steel; for food-grade clean fluids: it is advisable to use food-grade stainless steel solenoid valves.
2. High-temperature fluids: Choose solenoid valves made of high-temperature resistant electrical materials and sealing materials, and select piston-type structure.
3. Fluid state: Can be gaseous, liquid, or mixed state.
4. Fluid viscosity: Generally, any selection is possible below 50cSt; if exceeding this value, high-viscosity solenoid valves need to be selected.
5. Flammable fluids: Use intrinsically safe explosion-proof solenoid valves and explosion-proof solenoid valves with isolation.
